Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Overtime as needed)
Pay Rate: $20.44/hour, increasing to $23.05/hour after 90-day training period
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Position Summary:

We are seeking a safety-focused, dependable Forklift Operator/Yard Jockey to join our logistics and operations team. This role is responsible for safely operating various sizes of forklifts and yard jockey trucks to move products within the facility, load/unload cargo, and maintain accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts (10K to 55K capacity) to move, load, and unload products for storage or shipment
• Operate yard jockey trucks to transport cargo between different areas of the facility
• Identify and report product damage or inventory shortages to supervision
• Inspect equipment daily and report or perform minor maintenance to ensure operational safety
• Maintain accurate inventory records and activity logs
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines
• Keep work areas clean and organized; assist with general housekeeping duties such as laying dunnage and recouping bundles of cargo
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience preferred
• Experience with large-capacity forklifts (10K–55K) preferred
• Yard Jockey/Spotter truck experience preferred
• OSHA-compliant forklift certification preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and protocols
