An educational opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in high school settings, specifically focusing on intervention strategies for students requiring social emotional support. This full-semester contract position is based in Medina, OH, and offers the chance to work collaboratively within a skilled team environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing tailored instruction and support to a social emotional caseload of approximately six students.
• Collaborating closely with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement effective intervention plans.
• Developing and adapting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs and compliance standards.
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies to ensure educational and behavioral goals are met.
• Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, including families and school personnel, to foster a supportive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education at the high school level.
• Experience working with students who have social emotional challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with behavioral specialists and support staff.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
