Job Details: - Pay-$27.00-$36.00/HR (DOE)
- Schedule: Sunday– Thursday 2:00p – 10:30p
- Duration: 3 months initially (possible temp to perm)
- Location: Palo Alto

Qualifications: - Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in management, healthcare administration, business administration, hospitality services, or a related field preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience: - Three years of experience working in hospitality or healthcare setting (ie: hospital, medical/dental office, nursing facility, concierge etc.)
- Scheduling experience
- Basic PC Skills (Windows, Excel, and Word)
- EPIC experience highly preferred
Responsibilities: - Acts as a non-clinical liaison/concierge/navigator for patients, providing assistance and support before, during, and after their medical facility visit going above and beyond to assist with their needs.
- Cross train in all departments, check in on patients rooms ensuring patients have all they need.
- Facilitates scheduling of physician appointments and care during in-patient and out-patient stays for key individual and
- Assists in navigating the Stanford healthcare system including enrolling in MyHealth, medical equipment services, aging adult services and physician searches.
- Greets and guides patients, families, and visitors, offering clear instructions, locating services or facilities, confirming appointments, and providing language interpretation services if needed.
- Assists with transportation, informing guests about campus shuttles and providing personal transport when necessary.
- Communicates patient and guest concerns to the appropriate departments, documenting relevant information when necessary.
- Provides practical assistance and emotional support to patients, families, and staff while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity in all interactions to include housing and hotel assistance, local restaurants, interests and events.

- Organization and time management skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Physical stamina: Ability to walk over 10,000 steps per day.
