Human Resources Assistant

LHH is actively seeking a Human Resources Assistant for one of our top clients in Louisville! This will be an onsite contract to hire opportunity with our client.

Schedule: Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM, with some flexibility required.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Intermediate data entry and customer service skills
  • Experience with document auditing
  • Basic knowledge of payroll and benefits administration preferred

Job Summary: The Human Resources Administrative Assistant supports the HR department in administering various human resources programs and procedures for company employees. This role involves processing employee lifecycle transactions, ensuring documentation accuracy and completeness, and providing administrative and customer service support to employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the processing of employee lifecycle transactions in accordance with established company procedures
  • Follow up to ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and timely
  • Provide information to employees and managers regarding HR processes and policies; escalate issues to HR Consultants as appropriate
  • Assist with preparation, processing, and maintenance of post-offer employment documentation, including I-9 verification using the E-Verify system
  • Support post-employment drug screening, background checks, post-accident testing, and random screening programs as needed
  • Assist with benefits administration and wellness programs
  • Maintain employment forms and information on the corporate intranet for employee and manager use
  • Support document control and auditing activities
  • Process employment verification requests in accordance with established guidelines
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and other HR-related documentation as directed
  • Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources Department
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
