Tax Accountant We’re looking for a sharp Tax Accountant with 1+ years of income tax experience to join a dynamic CPA firm in Uptown Dallas. Responsibilities Prepare complex individual, corporation, partnership tax returns and engage in tax planning and financial analysis. Partner with principals on client consulting engagements, financial analyses, and special projects. Provide full-cycle client support for small businesses: accounting review/cleanup, reconciling statements, managing general ledger, and direct support to in-house teams. Resolve tax issues with the IRS. Utilize tools such as Lacerte, QuickBooks, and Excel. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting. 1-2 years public accounting experience focused on tax prep. 1+ years income tax preparation experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word and QuickBooks or similar software. Lacerte experience is a bonus. Excellent communication skills. CPA certification is a differentiator, not required to start.
