Position Overview
Title: Inpatient Pharmacist
Summary: Step into a clinical inpatient setting where you'll handle everything from IV verification to automated dispensing, formulary review, and provider communication. Evening shifts and rotating weekends are part of the schedule, and only experienced inpatient pharmacists with SC licensure in hand will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
Interpret and input medication orders into EHR accurately and efficiently
Oversee and check IVs, medication carts, and emergency kits
Act as a clinical resource for nurses, physicians, and care teams
Manage pharmacy technology: automated dispensing systems, remote monitoring, infusion devices
Identify and resolve medication concerns related to allergies, interactions, reconciliation, or CPOE
Ensure proper charging, dispensing, and regulatory compliance
Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians and support team members
Participate in hospital rounds, formulary discussions, and quality improvement initiatives
Support training of students, residents, and new staff
Ideal Candidate
Experienced inpatient pharmacist with strong clinical decision-making skills
Detail-oriented, collaborative, and confident navigating EHRs and automation
Passionate about medication safety and interdepartmental communication
Able to adjust quickly in a high-volume, rotating-shift environment
Job Requirements
Active South Carolina Pharmacist License (must be in hand)
Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient hospital experience (required)
Proficient with IV admixtures, automation, and EMR workflows
Availability for evening shifts and weekend rotations
