Job Description

Instructional/Leadership Coach

Working with the Assistant Director of Leadership Programs inthe Roche Center for Catholic Education, and Center staff, the Instructional/LeadershipCoach supports special professional development programming for the RocheCenter. The Roche Center facilitates multiple professional development programsfor Catholic schools at both the local and national level. These programs occurthroughout the year and occur both in person and virtually.

The Instructional/Leadership Coach contributes to program design,implementation and evaluation of Roche Center professional developmentprograms. Directly coaching teachers, leaders, and teams, this individualpartners with a broad range of constituents. S/he has a significant impact onteachers, leaders, schools, and communities, and during this exciting period ofgrowth, helps to shape and drive the Roche Center for Catholic Education'soutreach programs. Facilitates professional development for school communities.

The Instructional/Leadership Coach reports to the Roche Center forCatholic Education's Assistant Director of Leadership Programs. The Instructional/LeadershipCoach spends 75% of time in schools and must be able and willing to travel toCatholic schools in the Boston metropolitan area. The Instructional/Leadership Coach will also support theCenter's special outreach projects, such as faith formation and communityprogramming for current programs.

The Instructional/Leadership Coach must possess stronginterpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit to work effectively acrossschools and motivate the constituents to perform. The Instructional/LeadershipCoach will assist in recruitment of participants for outreach initiatives andRoche Center events.

Salary commensurate with relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in educational leadership or related field.
  • At least 2 years as a Catholic school leader, with demonstratedresults.
  • At least 2 years teaching experience at the K-12 level.
  • Leadership experience in urban Catholic schools.
  • Experience in facilitating professional development forCatholic school teachers and leaders.
  • Candidate must have proven written and oralcommunication skills, the ability to manage multiple, complex, and ongoingprojects and work independently, as well as a part of a team.
