Inventory Control Manager

Position Overview
The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory management processes, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and optimizing stock control practices to support manufacturing operations. This role involves collaborating with various departments to maintain an efficient supply chain and minimize costs while ensuring product availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement inventory control systems and procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to forecast inventory needs based on production schedules and demand.
  • Utilize ERP systems, particularly Deacom, to track inventory movements and generate reports.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records through investigation and corrective actions.
  • Train and supervise inventory control staff to enhance productivity and adherence to best practices.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control best practices and methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Deacom, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
