Job Title: Inventory & Replenishment Specialist

Reaction Tackle is a fast-growing fishing tackle company with operations centered on our warehouse and ReactionTackle.com , plus marketplace channels on Walmart and Amazon.

Role Summary

You will manage inventory and forecast demand across our warehouse and channels, prepare supplier POs , and prepare/create inbound shipments (WFS, FBA, AWD) based on forecasts from Finale Inventory. You’ll draft replenishment plans and shipment builds for approval, then execute them, track delivery, and reconcile what Amazon/Walmart receive.

Key Responsibilities

• Forecast & Plan Inventory using Finale Inventory (sales velocity, lead times, seasonality, promos) to recommend replenishment quantities (warehouse → channels).

• Prepare Supplier POs in line with approved forecasts (correct case packs, MOQs, lead times, INCOterms).

• Build & Execute Replenishments (Inbound Only)

  • Warehouse / ReactionTackle.com (Shopify): Maintain healthy on-hand levels by planning inbound POs to our warehouse (no customer-order/fulfillment work).

  • Walmart WFS: Create shipment plans in Walmart Seller Center; finalize after approval; track in-transit.

  • Amazon FBA & AWD: Draft shipment builds in Seller Central from Finale data; after approval, create shipments, assign SKUs/quantities, labels, and carton/pallet details; track to receiving.

• Reconciliation & Cases

  • Compare shipped vs. received (Amazon/Walmart); investigate shortages and discrepancies; coordinate with VA team to file/support cases and recover units/fees.

• Inventory Monitoring

  • Maintain in-stock rates and target days-of-supply; watch restock/excess/age reports; tune reorder parameters (lead time, buffer, min/max DOS).

• Cross-Team Coordination

  • Work with the warehouse manager on inbound scheduling/labels/routing only (this role does not manage warehouse staff or outbound orders).

  • Communicate timing/constraints for launches, promos, and seasonality.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with inventory forecasting, replenishment, and purchasing in eCommerce/wholesale.

• Proven ability to create FBA/AWD/WFS shipments and work inside Seller Central / Walmart Seller Center.

• Finale Inventory experience strongly preferred (or fast learner with similar systems).

• Comfortable in Shopify and ShipStation for inventory visibility.

• Strong Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, basic forecasting math).

• Detail-driven; able to manage thousands of SKUs and complex lead-time networks.

• Clear communicator; organized; follows SOPs and maintains audit-ready records.

Preferred Qualifications

• Reconciling Amazon/Walmart receiving discrepancies and supporting case documentation.

• Tuning forecasting inputs (lead times, service levels, safety stock, DOS).

• Familiarity with seasonality planning in sporting goods/outdoors.
