How will you make an impact?

As an Irrigation Foreman , you will be contributing to the customers overall satisfaction and retention. You will oversee the installation of new irrigation/sprinkler systems and also manage the maintenance program. You will also be responsible for repairing and replacing pumps, main feeders, sprinkler heads and clocks as well as adjusting accordingly by the season.

Here’s what your responsibilities will be:

• Lead, direct, and manage our Irrigation Technicians for new sprinkler system installations and preventative maintenance.
• Repair and replace pumps, main feeder, sprinkler heads, and clocks
• Oversee sprinkler system preventative maintenance program
• Adjust clocks and heads depending on the water needs and time of season
• Troubleshoot problems such as fixing leaks, broken head replacement and other irrigation system concerns
• Works with customer to ensure satisfaction with their system and adjust accordingly
• Supervise employees need trained and assisted on areas of irrigation
• Completes necessary paperwork including time sheets, work orders, change orders and materials used or needed for each job
• Operates landscape equipment including: trenchers, skid steers, and hand tools
• Read blueprints in order to ensure proper layout of irrigation system
• Complete installation with low voltage wiring
• Ability to install low voltage lighting and perform electrical troubleshooting as needed
• Performing follow-up service
• Irrigation winterization
• Maintains a safe work environment

Here is what our “Ideal candidate” looks like:

• 5 years’ experience working with both residential and commercial irrigation
• Ability to lead installation of irrigation systems and perform maintenance as needed
• Ability to work in collaboration with Landscape Foreman/Owner/Project Manager/Technicians
• Ability to operate equipment including Maxie Sneaker/Trenchers/Mini Excavator
• Understanding of Tu-core/2-wire system
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specs for the layout and installation of sprinkler systems
