Job Description

Our retail client is looking for a junior graphic designer to join their team as a freelancer. As the junior graphic designer, you will support the team by designing engaging and visually appealing graphics primarily for their website and email campaigns. You'll work closely with the senior brand manager to ensure the digital content aligns with brand guidelines. This is a remote freelance opportunity. Candidates should be able to work 20 hours per week. Responsibilities

• Design visually appealing graphics for website assets, email newsletters, promotional banners, and other digital content
• Collaborate with the senior brand manager to ensure consistency in brand identity across all digital platforms
• Optimize graphics for performance, including resizing and ensuring they are compatible across different devices and platforms
• Ensure all designs meet the highest standards of quality and are delivered on time
• Revise and iterate on designs based on feedback from senior team members and stakeholders
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to creative discussions
• Support the team in various ad hoc design tasks as required

Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing design work for websites and email campaigns
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Figma, and Canva
• Understanding of web and email design best practices (responsive design, email compatibility, etc.).
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for design.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of branding principles and typography
