Job Summary


Join our dynamic team in a picturesque resort town as the Kids Camp Activities Manager, where you'll be responsible for designing and delivering unforgettable experiences for children attending our seasonal kids camp. This role combines creativity, leadership, and hospitality in a luxury setting-ideal for someone passionate about child development, outdoor adventure, and guest service excellence.


Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment and can balance fun with safety, structure, and professionalism. You'll oversee all day-to-day camp activities, manage a team of counselors, and ensure each child leaves with unforgettable memories.

Job Responsibilities
  • Program Design & Implementation
    • Create and manage a diverse, age-appropriate weekly schedule of indoor and outdoor activities, including:
      • Nature hikes, lake/beach play, outdoor games
      • Crafts and themed events
      • Mini sports clinics, treasure hunts, resort tours
      • Cultural and locally inspired programming
    • Coordinate activities with other resort departments (e.g., spa, culinary, adventure center) to integrate family-friendly resort offerings.
    Guest & Child Engagement
    • Welcome families and ensure a warm, professional first impression of the kids camp.
    • Create a fun, inclusive atmosphere that reflects the resort's high standards.
    • Adapt programs to fit weather, group dynamics, and camper needs.
    Team Management
    • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate seasonal camp staff and counselors.
    • Lead daily team meetings and ensure staff adhere to camp procedures and guest service guidelines.
    • Serve as the point person for staff scheduling and camper-to-counselor ratios.
    Health, Safety & Compliance
    • Ensure all safety protocols are followed during activities, excursions, and transportation.
    • Maintain inventory of camp supplies and ensure all equipment is safe and clean.
    • Respond to any incidents with professionalism and documentation as per resort policy.
    Communication & Collaboration
    • Work closely with the Director of Events and guest services teams to ensure smooth operations.

    • Communicate clearly with parents/guardians about schedules, behavior policies, and camper progress.
    • Gather and incorporate guest feedback to continuously elevate the camp experience.
Job Requirements
  • 3 to 6 years' relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Able to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Organizational skills- Ability to be organized in a changing environment.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Essential Job Function
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • Ability to lift to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to sun, heat, humidity, rain, and cold
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with vendors, clients, guests, and co-workers both orally and in writing
  • Ability to maintain a calm professional demeanor during periods of stress
