Laundry Aide - 32 Hours/Week | $17.60-$19.05/hr + Weekend Differential Location: Fairmount Homes - Ephrata, PA Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM | Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) Join a team that feels like family. What We Offer: * Starting pay of $17.60-$19.05/hour * Weekend differential: +$1.25/hour * Paid 30-minute lunch break * Generous PTO plan * 401(k) with matching program * Full medical, dental, and vision insurance for 30+ hours/week * Employee discounts at the on-site Fairmount Café * A welcoming and friendly team environment What You'll Do: * Collect soiled laundry, handling it safely to prevent the spread of airborne bacteria * Follow proper precautions when washing "contaminated" or "isolation" linens * Sort laundry items by category, wash, dry, and fold according to material type * Distribute clean laundry to designated areas using laundry carts * Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and carts * Protect residents' linens and clothing during the laundering process What We're Looking For: * Ability to follow simple oral directions * Previous laundry experience helpful but not required—we'll train you! * Working knowledge of commercial laundry equipment a plus * A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to our mission and values Apply Today!
