A well-established moving, storage and white-glove delivery company, is seeking an experienced driver (Class C License) to assist with installs at high-end homes around the San Francisco Bay Area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Driver, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient transportation of our customers' belongings and managing a team of drivers and movers. Your role will include:

• Delivery and installation of antiques and high-end furniture
• Wrapping, packing, loading and unloading items, ensuring proper packaging, handling, and securing of goods to prevent damage.
• Leading a team of movers, providing guidance and ensuring teamwork.
• Safely operating and maintaining company vehicles, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
• Providing exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise on the jobsite.
• Ensuring all equipment and tools are properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Condition reporting for all goods picked up in the field. Maintaining accurate records of any changes or additions to original scope of work.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Class C Drivers License with a clean DMV record
• Two Years bobtail / box truck driving experience (14' - 26' Trucks)
• Knowledge of art and high-end furniture handling, including proper packing and loading methods
• Able to safely lift 70 pounds without damage to item, person or home.
• Ability to push/pull 150 pounds on a dolly or cart.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and follow instructions for furniture assembly
• Team player and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage a large workload, show up with a positive attitude and remain calm during stressful situations
• Well groomed, punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic
• English speaking

Drivers report daily to warehouse located in South San Francisco. Business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with occasional overtime.

Paid weekly. Medical, Dental and paid time off offered after probationary period.

Duties may vary depending on warehouse volume and business needs.
