Job Description

The Legal Counsel is a confident and forward-thinking attorney who can provide practical legal advice concerning all aspects of Red Bull's marketing activities in the United States. You will review and analyze marketing and advertising content, events, and consumer activations/promotions for compliance with US laws and regulations while offering legal risk mitigation strategies across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with Red Bull's media/content and marketing legal teams, IP/brand enforcement and regulatory legal teams, and interface directly daily with a broad range of client teams, including brand marketing, brand partnerships (In-bound sponsorships), sports marketing, gaming, and culture marketing groups.

• 2+ years of experience practicing law in marketing, advertising, or regulatory compliance. [Big] Law firm or in-house experience is a must.
• Preferred experience within a consumer product and/or entertainment marketing environment.
• JD required
• Member of the California Bar
• Exceptional legal drafting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work directly with executive leadership within organization and manage cross-functional stakeholders both domestically and globally
• Ability to meet demanding deadlines without sacrificing the quality of work product.
• Team player willing to work with other attorneys and staff at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and pragmatic legal judgment.
• High degree of flexibility and availability to travel as needed.
