Position Overview: The Loan Officer Assistant will play a key role in helping serve clients throughout the residential mortgage application and approval process. The position requires a current NMLS License
The work schedule is Monday through Friday and no weekends are required.
This position is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

Experience and Skills Responsibilities:
* The candidate will provide world class support to the loan originator as well as internal and external customers.
* Will be in daily contact with all parties of a loan to collect and process information verbally and through computer systems, ensure complete and accurate collection.
* Shall ensure a smooth and timely mortgage experience while proactively addressing issues that could impede the process.
* As Loan Officer Assistant, the candidate will maintain a daily file of sales leads, action items and other projects or projections necessary for helping the Loan Officer stay on top of priorities.
* Candidate will review daily goals with Owner and serve as back up to the Loan Officer when he is out of the office with other clients.
* Daily responsibilities include replying to email, answering phones, forwarding calls, making appointments, filing paperwork, creating information packets, data entry and hand-written correspondence.
Experience Preferences and Key Competencies:
* Current NMLS license.
* Prior experience in a mortgage loan capacity.
* Organized, self-starter.
* Ability to work autonomously and with a team.
* Must be willing to undergo personal background check.
* Professional speaking voice and oral communication skills are required.
* Internet, email, and common office experience is required.
* Microsoft Excel and Word are helpful; social media skills desirable.
* Professional and courteous whether in person or over phone.
* Must be comfortable working efficiently in a busy office.
* Must focus on a sense of urgency when deadlines are near.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Bilingual with the ability to read and write. Harvis, Inc.
