PRIVATE AGED COMMUNITY - Graymoor
We are seeking a Part Time and a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high quality care.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assists in overseeing the assignments and tasks which ensure quality health care per the sister’s care plans.
· LPN provides leadership in the assessment, coordination, planning and implementation of an evaluation of nursing care.
· Participates in the evaluation of residents regarding admission, discharge, transfer, and emergencies.
· Fosters an atmosphere of teamwork; LPN is willing to participate in the physical care of the sisters whenever necessary.
· LPN works with nursing personnel in checking, clarifying physicians’ orders and placement in the
Medication Administration Record (MAR) and the Treatment Administration Record (TAR).
· Works with nursing personnel in making and confirming doctor’s appointments, arranging for medical testing and other procedures prescribed by the doctor.
· Work under direct Supervision of the Healthcare Director
POSITION HOURS: ALL SHIFTS
PT Position/ FT Position- All Shifts -Day shift, · Evening shift, · Night shift Overnight shift
Must be available to work Day 7am-3pm, Evening shift 3-11pm,
Overnights 11-7 am and Weekends
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Valid New York State LPN license is required
· CPR Certification
· BLS Certification (Preferred)
· Previous clinical or healthcare experience, preferably in long term care and/or geriatric
setting
DESIRED SKILLS: Exceptional bedside manner and great interpersonal skills
· Excellent organization skills
· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
· Attention to detail
SALARY: $29.00-$32.00 per hour
