Job Description

Volt is immediately hiring for a Machinist in Mossville, IL.

As a Machinist you will:

Primary Responsibilities
· This position requires several years’ experience in a shop floor environment performing saw cutting, grinding, polishing and other machinist work.
· The machinist will work on a team that provides machining support to a metallurgical testing laboratory.
· The machinist is required to follow written instructions and be able to read blueprints.
· The machinist must pay attention to detail and be quality oriented and equipment used to perform machinist job functions include abrasive cut-off saws, surface grinders, lathes, reciprocating mill, and large band saws.
· The machinist must be capable of communicating with all levels of employees found in a professional lab environment, including supervisors and company engineers.

This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity.

Shift: 1st shift (7:30AM to 4:00PM)
Duration: Fulltime Contract
Location: Mossville, IL, 61552
Pay Range: $21- $25 per hour.
