Role: Additive Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Tukwila, WA
Type: Contract
Duration: Long Term
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Post-process SLA (Stereolithography) parts, including support removal, UV curing, surface smoothing, and final finishing.
• Utilize adhesives, primers, and coatings to enhance part durability and appearance.
• Develop and document post-processing workflows for SLA and other additive technologies.
• Work directly with customers to optimize designs for manufacturability and post-processing efficiency.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
• Hands-on experience with post-processing of SLA and other AM parts.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Understanding of adhesives, paints, and surface finishing techniques for AM materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in post-processing quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D CAD drawings for post-processing requirements
