Description Job Title: Marketing Intern Location: Hybrid (Remote and In-Person in Chicago, IL)
Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week
Reports To: Marketing Coordinator (with a dotted line to the Director of Marketing)
About Us: Sunda and Blueprint Underground Cocktail Club are hospitality brands in the restaurant, nightlife, and entertainment industries, under the Rockit Ranch Productions portfolio, known for their exceptional dining and nightlife experiences. We are seeking a dedicated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team and contribute to the success of both venues.
Position Overview: As a Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the marketing efforts for Sunda and Blueprint Underground Cocktail Club. You will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator and the Director of Marketing to execute a variety of tasks that enhance our brand presence and drive engagement.
Key Responsibilities: - Content Creation:
- Assist in writing and editing blog posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Design graphics and visuals for marketing campaigns, social media, and website use.
- Capture and edit photos and videos for content use.
- Market Research:
- Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and industry news.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify insights.
- Event Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events and promotions.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including setup, communication, and follow-up.
- Campaign Assistance:
- Support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
- Track and report on campaign performance and effectiveness.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Manage and organize marketing files and materials.
- Assist with data entry and maintain marketing databases.
- Digital Presence Maintenance:
- Ensure that brand profiles are set up and updated properly on third-party listing sites.
- Monitor and manage digital presence to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A passion for marketing and a keen interest in the restaurant and nightlife industry.
