Material Handler – Overhead Crane Experience Preferred

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary:

The Material Handler plays a vital role in maintaining the flow of materials throughout the facility. This includes pulling and staging materials, supporting production, operating material-handling equipment, and preparing finished products for shipment.

Job Duties:

• Pull and verify materials for production based on work orders
• Operate overhead crane to move steel and large components (training provided)
• Label, record, and stock incoming and in-process materials
• Prepare finished goods for shipment by loading and securing product
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and conduct pre-use equipment inspections

Pay: $18.05-18.80\hourly

 

Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift openings 

Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM 2nd shift 4:30am-2:00am
Overtime may be available as needed

Experience or Skill Requirements:

• 6+ months of material handling or warehouse experience
• Overhead crane experience preferred (will train qualified candidates)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts or pallet jacks
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable using basic data entry tools or barcode scanners
