Pre-Production Operator

Join a dynamic team as a Pre-Production Operator in a clean room environment where you will contribute to the manufacturing of various styles of French catheters. You will work on challenging projects and collaborate with the Research & Development team. Your role will involve completing tasks accurately according to specifications and within defined timelines to support R&D projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble catheter components, including stringing, reflow, liner stretching, coiling, braiding, skiving, annealing, and terminating braid coils.
• Load extrusions, perform visual inspections, and finalize packaging of products.
• Utilize small hand tools, tweezers, and microscopes for catheter assembly.
• Adapt to work in different product lines and assemblies as needed.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Documentation Processes (GDPs), and safety procedures.
• Perform manual/hand assembly, braiding, stretching, and pulling of catheters.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in braiding processes.
• Experience with microscopes and smartscopes.
• Knowledge of annealing and reflow.
• Ability to use hand tools such as tweezers, micrometers, and calipers.
• 1-3+ years of medical assembly experience, particularly in catheter assemblies.
• 1-3+ years of experience using a microscope.
• 1-3+ years of experience with basic hand tools like tweezers, cutters, and pliers.

Work Environment:

Work in a clean room environment that is well-lit and temperature-controlled, with full gowning, smock, hair net, and glasses required. The facility is expanding, providing a modern workspace. The position is for the 1st Shift, Monday to Thursday, 5am-3:30pm (4x10s), with flexibility to work additional hours, most likely on Fridays.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
