Job Title: Tech IV – Assembly Support Team
Location: Irvine, CA
Shifts and Pay:  

Job Title: Laser Technician
1st shift
PAY: $23/hour
Schedule: 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Monday - Friday / Every other Friday OFF .

Our client in Irvine, CA is hiring Laser Technicians to join their dynamic Assembly Support Team. If you have hands-on experience with assembly and testing—and you're eager to grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment—this could be the perfect fit.

What’s the Job?

• Minimum of two-year experience in cleaning and handling of optical components including
• Mirrors, Lenses, Beam splitter, Cube, Filters, etc., Pockels cell, Crystal, Beam expanders and other optical and electro-optical components.

• Familiarity with Optical coatings handling and cleaning.
• Experience with working under flow/clean bench.
• Minimum of two-year experience utilizing Optical Alignment Instruments such as
• Laser alignment, using laser beam to align optical components. Alignment telescope and Autocollimators, Interferometer (Zygo) including.
• Test Setup
• Data collection etc
• Coupling of Laser into fiber bundle
• Experience using Basic Shop Tools and instruments.
• Specially designed assembly and alignment tools
• Microscope
• Oscilloscope
• Micrometer
• Caliper
• Mixing and applying cements
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft office (words, excel, etc)
• Experience with Laser Safety protocol.
• Experience with clean room protocol.
• Experience with ISO requirements.
• Experience with Engineering drawings standards.
• Experience with working under flow/clean bench

  What’s Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and a basic Math/English test (4th-grade level)
  • Assembly experience (preferred)
