This position is eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment program which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principle balance faster.

 

Job Summary

• The Medical Laboratory Technician is accountable for providing accurate and timely results to provide the best care for our patients.  The MLT must be able to provide various testing in the area of chemistry, hematology, coagulation, bacteriology, serology, and body fluids.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Techhnology from a two-year college or technical school required.
• 6 months to 1 year experience preferred

Certification, Licensure, Registration

• Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP or AMT is preferred.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm and 7:00am-5:30pm
• Weekend Rotation - Once every 6 weeks
• Holiday - 1 to 2 per year
• Call Time: Once weekly and every 6th weekend
• Part Time; 48hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.  

• $22.00 - $31.75 per hour
