Mistequa Hotel provides the perfect spot for guests to relax and revitalize. Our 69-room hotel offers a wide range of amenities including an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, fitness center, and an amazing restaurant/lounge. The hotel is becoming a destination spot for all the events offered by Mistequa. It is also a great place to stay for those taking advantage of the countless outdoor recreational opportunities in and around Chewelah. Mistequa hotel needs a full-time Laundry Attendant. The in-house laundry facility will be all new with the latest technology in washers and dryers. The right person for this position will help to make it all come together.

Duties will include:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel's linen supply.
• Accurately sort, wash and dry laundry and ensure the linens are up to Mistequa standards before being replaced on shelves.
• Manage the monthly linen inventory.
• Use equipment and chemicals in accordance with the hotel's safety procedures.
• Monitor all equipment and inform the supervisor of any equipment failures or supply shortages.
• Coordinates with the Maintenance Supervisor any routine maintenance of the equipment or outstanding repairs.
• Work closely with the Hotel Team Members to suggest methods for increasing laundry efficiency.

To meet the qualifications for this position, the following skills, experience and education requirements are needed:

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Experience in the hospitality industry (preferred)
• Must have an outstanding capability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members, guests and outside contacts either verbally, written or electronically.
• A record of above-average attendance.

This job requires that the employee lift up to 40 lbs, bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time.

Mistequa Hotel is open 365 days per year, 24 hours per day. All employees must be able to work any shift as needed to provide excellent guest services.

Selected candidates must be able to obtain a gaming license that includes a background check and UA testing (not THC). This requires that the employee be at least 18 years of age and have ID and social security card.
