Job Description

Our client a national eCommerce Company is seeking a talented and experienced Motion Graphic Designer to provide part-time, temporary support while a team member is on parental leave. This role is ideal for a highly skilled creative professional who excels in animation, rotoscoping, and compositing, and is comfortable working in a flexible, as-needed capacity. The engagement is anticipated to run from mid-May, with a fairly consistent workload of 10–20 hours per week, EST. Candidates who are local and open to occasional in-studio work are strongly preferred, though remote candidates will also be considered. Candidates must be able to work from their own equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Create dynamic, engaging motion graphics and animations for a variety of digital content
• Perform advanced rotoscoping and compositing to achieve high-quality visual effects
• Collaborate with creative leads and project stakeholders to ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand guidelines
• Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro as needed
• Use Illustrator for design elements and vector-based animation components
• Manage workload independently and communicate progress proactively in a flexible, remote-first environment
• Be available for quick-turnaround tasks and responsive collaboration within the scope of the engagement

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in motion graphics design, with a strong portfolio showcasing animation, rotoscoping, and compositing work
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote or hybrid setting
• Must provide and work from your own laptop and software setup
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Experience working on digital campaigns, branded content, or editorial media
• Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Cloud applications or relevant plug-ins for animation workflows
