THE GIST:

Our client, a mission-driven venture capital firm, seeks a stellar Office/Events Manager to support their team in San Francisco. This front-facing role will be responsible for all daily office operations, while also planning a range of company events + championing culture. The ideal candidate has experience in office coordination, a passion for events, and loves all things workplace experience. Role does require occasional work outside traditional business hours + on weekends for events.

THE NITTY GRITTY:

  • Oversee smooth daily operations for the office
  • Plan & execute an array of firm-wide events, team offsites, dinners, and company meetings
  • Greet and assist incoming guests & clients with 5-star customer service
  • Answer incoming phone calls and forward messages
  • Place office supply orders, restock snacks & refrigerator, and coordinate lunch orders
  • Book and manage conference room spaces
  • Maintain general office appearance
  • Prepare and distribute mail & shipments
  • Work with outside vendors and building maintenance teams
  • Assist with other general administrative functions and ad hoc projects, as needed

THE ESSENTIALS:

  • 3+ years of experience working in office coordination and/or workplace management
  • Previous experience in event planning
  • Ability to attend events outside traditional business hours on occasion (nights + weekends)
  • 5-star customer service skills
  • Poised & professional communication style
  • Ability to work collaboratively within all levels of an organization
  • Resourceful and proactive mindset
  • Stellar attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities

COMPENSATION: $90-110K base salary + benefits (exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and expertise)
