Position Overview

We are seeking knowledgeable and reliable On-Call Paralegals with specialized experience in family law, criminal law, and personal injury. This role is ideal for paralegals who prefer a flexible, project-based workload. When cases or projects become available, you'll be notified of opportunities to work on specific assignments, allowing you to utilize your expertise on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Support : Assist attorneys with case preparation, including legal research, drafting documents, and gathering information specific to family law, criminal law, or personal injury cases.
• Documentation & Research : Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Perform detailed legal research to support case arguments.
• Client Interaction : Where applicable, assist in gathering client information, witness statements, or other critical data for case files.
• Administrative Support : Manage and organize case files and documents, prepare summaries, and maintain case tracking systems as directed.

Qualifications

• Education & Certification : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. Paralegal certification preferred.
• Experience : 2+ years of paralegal experience with proven expertise in family law, criminal law, and/or personal injury.
• Skills :
  • Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to project requirements.
  • Familiarity with legal software and case management tools.
• Availability : Willingness to be on-call and flexible with assignments as they arise.
