Coastal Waste & Recycling is currently seeking a bilingual, entry-level New Hire Onboarding Coordinator to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida.

Your Role:

The Onboarding Coordinator supports the hiring process by completing transactional, pre-hire administrative tasks required to clear candidates for their start date. This role focuses on documentation, system updates, background checks, drug screens, and status tracking - not program development or employee relations.
  • Process pre-hire onboarding steps from offer acceptance through day one
  • Track and clear background checks, drug screens, and employment documentation
  • Update candidate status and notes accurately in the applicant tracking system
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates regarding required pre-employment steps
  • Collect, review, and verify new hire documentation for completeness
  • Enter employee data into HR systems with accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain electronic employee files in accordance with company standards
  • Monitor outstanding onboarding items and follow up as needed
  • Communicate onboarding progress and clearance status to internal teams
  • Support compliance with established onboarding and pre-hire procedures
What We're Looking For:
  • 1-2 years of experience in administrative, clerical, customer service, or data entry work
  • Experience working in high-volume, deadline-driven environments
  • Comfortable using systems to track tasks and update records
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Spanish language proficiency required
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
