Varsity Tutors For Schools (VT4S) is looking for experts like you to tutor learners online!

Earn cash while making a difference. Through the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform, you can empower learners' success with flexible, personalized tutoring from the comfort of your home.

Varsity Tutors makes tutoring remotely a seamless, interactive, and low-stress experience for both learners and tutors. Some features of the Platform include:

• interactive learning tools built into the Platform to enhance sessions (e.g. whiteboard, practice questions, diagnostics/assessments, quizzes)
• access to tutor a network of students enrolled in schools around the country
• a wide variety of opportunities to engage with students (e.g. group tutoring, 1:1 sessions, substituting)

What is VT4S?

Varsity Tutors, in partnership with schools or school districts, supplies online tutors to offer one-on-one or small group tutoring for elementary, middle, or high school level subjects. The goal of these partnerships is to deliver high-quality instruction to students who are in need of remediation and/or enrichment.

Qualifications Section

• Tutors must be over 18 years old and should be currently pursuing or have successfully obtained a post-secondary education.
• Please note that the company does not currently contract in Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Vermont, or West Virginia.

Desired Skills

• Should be willing/ready to create a structured plan for sessions in selected subjects based upon the needs indicated by the school or school district.
• Technology proficiency and proper remote communication is preferred as the tutoring services are delivered online through the Platform.

Compensation

• $15-25 hr

Unfortunately, Varsity Tutors does not contract roles in AK, CA, CO, DE, HI, ME, NH, ND, VT, WV, and Puerto Rico.
