Job Description

This position is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and programming all packaging equipment on all lines with an emphasis on Line 4. This position will break, cover vacancies, and train employees in all Packaging Operator positions to ensure that all packaging area equipment and people are able to package French fry and specialty products in an efficient manner consistent with customer, quality assurance and packaging goals and expectations

• Day Shift 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Graveyard 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
• $21 P/H

Duties:

• Ensures the efficient operation of baggers, Ishida scales and supporting equipment to meet required packaged volumes
• Ensures the efficient operation of package machines and support equipment to achieve required weights and bag and case condition
• Enters data regarding downtime into MMS
• Ensures packaging equipment and immediate area is maintained in a food sanitary manner, which meets Company standards
• Ensures packaging equipment and immediate area is maintained in a food sanitary manner on a daily basis and during major cleanup, which meets company standards.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in a manner to successfully perform job duties
• Must be able to perform basic math functions/basic computer skills
• Must be able to stand on concrete floors for long periods of time
• Must be able to work in extreme environments: hot or cold temperatures and wet/slick floors
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have a clean criminal background
