INFINIUM has an immediate need for a conscientious, hardworking, and dedicated Professional Painter and Powder Coater to join our team with the following:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Professional Painter and Powder Coater to paint and powder coat various surfaces.

Responsibilities:

1. Reading blueprints/instructions and examining surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary.

2. Making on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.

3. Preparing walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.

4. Mixing paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture.

5. Painting surfaces using brushes, spray guns, or paint rollers.

6. Applying varnish and other finishes to preserve the quality of the paint job and enhance the final appearance.

7. Preparing and applying powder coating to metal and wood substrates.

8. Operating powder coating equipment and ensuring it is in good working order.

9. Inspecting finished surfaces to detect flaws and ensure quality.

10. Conducting routine maintenance to keep painting and powder coating equipment clean and in good working order.

11. Complying with all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

12. Follow safety protocols and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

13. Participate in continuous improvement and safety activities to streamline production processes and enhance product quality.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Professional Painter and /or Powder Coater, ideally in the industrial/commercial sector.

2. Exceptional knowledge of painting and powder coating material and how to select, mix and apply them.

3. Solid knowledge of commercial finishing and refinishing in a construction environment.

4. Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, sprayers, tooling for hanging parts etc.).

5. Conscientious with great attention to detail.

Competencies:

1. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.

2. Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.

3. Valid Driver’s License

4. High school diploma or equivalent.

5. Forklift Operation Certification will be considered a plus.

6. Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

7. Ability to occasionally travel overnight.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required with reasonable notice.
