work hours: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm with hour lunch or 9:00 to 5:00 with a 1 hour lunch
Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience: Two (2) years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm, legal tribunal,
or legal department in a public or private entity whose primary function is the research, enactment, enforcement, or litigation of the legal matter

Job responsibilities in Brief The employee will assist the OPRA unit to assist with the review, redactions and responses to requests made under the OPRA. Assist the Records Custodian on other duties as needed such as: Collect and input requests received via regular mail Forward request to respective unit or units. Coordinate with DCA units to compile documents and coordinate with the DOL if necessary. Compile documents, assist with redactions, prepare receipt and email responses. Maintain the OPRA tracking system up to date information. Coordinate delivery to requester ensuring that documents were appropriately received. Communicate with the public or members of the Press regarding cost, the need to clarify a request, or the need for extensions of time Monitor deadlines, follow up with the various units, issue reminders and maintain the request history.
