Hire Counsel is seeking a paralegal to work with the federal government in Texarkana, AR. Must be able to obtain and maintain an MRPT security clearance.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working with multiple Assistant United States Attorneys
- Examining, preparing, and processing a variety of technical legal documents
- Assembling trial exhibits, affidavits, discovery in various formats, etc.
- Assembling and organizing files and records for disposition or transfer to records depository
- Maintaining calendar of assigned active cases
- Tracking filing, hearing, and trial dates; scheduling conferences and interviews
- Arranging travel by preparing itinerary and securing transportation and hotel reservations
Project Details:
- Anticipated start date: Upon successful completion of interview process and obtaining MRPT security clearance
- Estimated duration: 1+ year
- Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
- Location: Onsite in Texarkana, AR
- Pay rate: $26.66/hr ($21.73 base + 4.93 H&W)
Qualifications:
- Required: Paralegal certificate or currently attending an ABA accredited law school and having completed at least 1 year of study
- Required: at least 1 year of litigation paralegal experience
- Prior experience with Relativity or other e-Discovery platforms required
- No concurrent document review permitted while working with Hire Counsel
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active MRPT security clearance
