Hire Counsel is seeking a paralegal to work with the federal government in Texarkana, AR. Must be able to obtain and maintain an MRPT security clearance.

Responsibilities Include:

• Working with multiple Assistant United States Attorneys
• Examining, preparing, and processing a variety of technical legal documents
• Assembling trial exhibits, affidavits, discovery in various formats, etc.
• Assembling and organizing files and records for disposition or transfer to records depository
• Maintaining calendar of assigned active cases
• Tracking filing, hearing, and trial dates; scheduling conferences and interviews
• Arranging travel by preparing itinerary and securing transportation and hotel reservations

Project Details:

• Anticipated start date: Upon successful completion of interview process and obtaining MRPT security clearance
• Estimated duration: 1+ year
• Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
• Location: Onsite in Texarkana, AR
• Pay rate: $26.66/hr ($21.73 base + 4.93 H&W)

Qualifications:

• Required: Paralegal certificate or currently attending an ABA accredited law school and having completed at least 1 year of study
• Required: at least 1 year of litigation paralegal experience
• Prior experience with Relativity or other e-Discovery platforms required
• No concurrent document review permitted while working with Hire Counsel
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active MRPT security clearance
