We are located in Houston, Texas and offer flexible, weekday hours. Are you driven by user-centered design and excited to collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring elegant solutions to life?Financial Software Solutions (FSS) is seeking a talented Part-Time UI/UX Designer to join our growing product team. This is a hands-on role for a creative professional passionate about improving user experience for SaaS or enterprise platforms—especially in the financial or legal technology space.What You’ll Do Design clean, intuitive user interfaces and engaging experiences for web-based applications. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes based on user needs, business goals, and technical input. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and customer-facing teams to iterate on and implement designs. Ensure designs align with brand guidelines, design systems, and accessibility standards (WCAG). Use tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch to deliver production-ready assets and documentation. Audit current UI components and contribute to the improvement of existing interfaces. Occasionally support marketing or internal teams with visual design assets. What You Bring 3 years of experience designing UI/UX for web applications (SaaS or complex environments preferred). Strong portfolio showcasing interactive, user-friendly designs for desktop or responsive web platforms. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.). Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design principles. Excellent communication, collaboration, and iterative feedback skills. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus (not required). Experience working with remote or distributed teams is a bonus. Success Looks Like Improved user engagement and satisfaction. Timely, high-quality design deliverables.
