Job DescriptionResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Ensure a high-quality experience for team members focused on skill development and proficiency, exemplary public presentation, and a supportive team environment.Coordinate and supervise all aspects of team practices, activities, events, and equipment.Recruit students for team participation, including advertising and conducting try-outs and developing and maintaining of relationships with high school programs and clubs.Assist department in maintaining team guidelines and expectations; ensure that these are fully communicated with team members.Identify and implement suitable fundraisers for the team and collaborate with the department in the development of the team budget and ongoing management of finances.Promote academic success and social/emotional well-being as key components of team success and work in consultation with the department to support the personal growth and development of team members.Implement university-approved team manual that includes University expectations for the team.Implement plans for individual and team skill development to ensure satisfactory team progress.Compensation is per credit, the current credit rate is a minimum of $1819 per credit.This adjunct position will remain open for 1 year to allow departments? access to candidate pools when there is a need to hire an adjunct to teach a course(s) during defined academic semester(s).Minimum QualificationsBachelor?s degree Prior leadership experience in a similar settingExcellent time management skills and organizational/planning abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a team settingExcellent written and oral communication skillsEvidence of the ability to work with persons from culturally diverse backgroundsEvidence of a valid driver?s license, or ability to acquire a legal driver?s license or qualify for a reasonable accommodationPreferred QualificationOther RequirementsAppointment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.Required Documents (Upload at Time of Application) Resume/CVCover LetterUnofficial TranscriptsThree (3) Professional ReferencesWork Shift (Hours / Days of work)VariesAboutThe successful candidate will share St. Cloud State?s commitment to our mission, and in particular, the value we place in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as outlined in SCSU?sIt?s Timestrategic framework.
