Kuhl Therapies is seeking a full-time pediatric occupational therapist. Kuhl Therapies is a neurodiverse affirming clinic looking for a therapist who understands this approach. We are a trans-disciplinary clinic that values collaboration and cooperation across therapists to treat our kiddos with a holistic and integrated approach. The therapist will be expected to be flexible and innovative with therapy approaches to best meet the child's individual needs.

The Occupational Therapist- full time will be responsible for:

• Performing evaluations independently and verifying the appropriateness of therapy. Collaborating or referring to other disciplines as necessary.
• Reviewing patient medical history/record and selecting, administering, and interpreting standardized tests and measurements in order to assess motor skills, activities of daily living, and sensory processing.
• Developing and implementing individualized client treatment. Establishing treatment goals.
• Preparing discharge plans and home treatment programs and providing instruction and education to patients and families. Monitoring treatment outcomes, modifying the program as needed, and communicating recommendations to other providers.
• Recording assessments, diagnoses, and treatment in patient medical records according to established documentation standards. Preparing reports, correspondence, referrals, and other materials for schools, providers, payors, and others as needed.
• Developing clinical knowledge and skills through participation in professional development.
• Contributing to the teamwork and learning more about physical and Speech therapy in order to carry over those goals into the occupational therapy sessions.

To qualify, you must have:

• A Master's in Occupational Therapy.
• 1-2 years minimum OT experience preferred.
• Excellent Analytical and Communication skills.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the state board.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: 75,000-85,000 a year.
