Location: Clermont, FL 34711
Start Date: 12/8/2025
Schedule: Monday–Friday (6:30 AM–3:30 PM) + Rotating Saturday (6:30 AM–10:30 AM)
End Date: 4/30/2026
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Pay Rate: $18.62- $20.71/HR
Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist I to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Clermont Patient Service Center in Clermont, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quality blood draws on patients of all ages – pediatrics through geriatrics
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection
• Prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures
• Maintain required documentation and records
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and provide an excellent patient experience
• Follow established practices to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and process excellence
Requirements:
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience required; 1+ years preferred
• Excellent pediatric and geriatric draw skills
• Ability to provide accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required only in CA, NV, WA)
• TB and color vision screening may be required
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Keyboard/data entry experience required
Reliable transportation is a must. Candidate must live within a 20–25 minute commute to the site. Excessive absenteeism/tardiness is not tolerated. Candidates must be available to work all scheduled hours and remain for the full shift.
