Since that time, the hospital has become well-known as one of the state's most active and respected cardiothoracic referral centersThe Department of Surgery at the University of Missouri is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neurosurgeon with a completed fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (non-tenure track or tenure/tenure track). Responsibilities will include providing clinical services to the Neurological Surgery pediatric patient population, with the option of adult coverage; Participation in general and pediatric neurosurgery on-call coverage; Contributing to resident selection and evaluation; Participation in resident education through supervision in the clinical setting and operating room, as well as through academic curriculum development; Other actives include participation in medical student education, as well as involvement in clinically relevant research and scholarship. Fulfillment of other duties as assigned by division chief.
