Develop and pitch podcast script ideas of interest to listeners 45+ using content and with a focus on delighting and engaging listeners.
Report out and write podcast scripts based on content with a focus on features, health and wellness, retirement, work and relationships.
Collaborate with video and podcast production staff on schedule and planning.
Report and write state guides, including election guides, tax guides, COVID guides and others.
Monitor news developments and changes to update guides as needed, often on a quick turnaround basis.
Annotate stories thoroughly so researchers can check the facts with minimal additional digging and upload transcripts of interviews.
Conceptualize illustrations with digital designers for guides and stories.
Learn how to use our Brightspot content management system in order to format and produce guides and state stories, as well as our Content Production System.
Write preliminary headlines and budget lines using search-engine optimization skills.
Collaborate with others across the organization and participate in meetings as needed.
