Job Title: Powder Coat Painter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coat Painter to join our team in a dynamic environment. As part of a well-established, family-owned business that has been serving the industry for over 50 years, you will have the opportunity to work with custom electrical enclosure solutions for various industries including Material Handling Systems, OEM, Building Automation Systems, and Distribution.

• Perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, as required.
• Hang parts on the paint line, ensuring consistent lifting of materials.
• Work in the paint booth with aluminum and other metals/materials.
• Conduct powder coating, paint preparation, racking, and sandblasting.
• Assist with spray painting and blasting as needed.

• Experience in industrial painting or automotive collision repair.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, grinding, and assembly work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with spray guns and industrial painting techniques.

• Experience in sanding, coating, and production processes.
• Capability to work with various materials and equipment.

The work environment is predominantly non-climate controlled, with large fans throughout the site to ensure ventilation. However, the paint area is air-conditioned for comfort. The job requires wearing steel-toe boots and personal protective equipment, such as eye glasses and ear plugs, which are provided by the company.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
