Powder Coat Painter - Day Shift - $22 - $26/hr + OT

Aegis Worldwide is seeking a detail-oriented Powder Coat Painter to join our operations team. In this role, you will apply high-quality powder coatings to various parts and components, ensuring a durable and defect-free finish. The ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced, hot work environment, stand for long periods, lift up to 65 lbs., and perform repetitive bending, twisting, and kneeling safely. This position offers the opportunity to grow and cross-train across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect raw materials for defects and ensure proper surface preparation.
• Mask and plug threads, bolts, or areas not to be coated.
• Apply powder coatings accurately, following color codes and powder specifications.
• Operate and adjust powder coating equipment and controls.
• Perform routine maintenance on powder guns, booths, and related equipment.
• Log powder usage and maintain inventory records.
• Identify and correct paint defects on finished parts.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth production flow.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience with inventory management preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment.
