Job#: 3010855 Job Description: We are looking for a Pricing/Promo Analyst who wants to be a part of our Analytics team and partners with the merchant teams to translate the analytics/strategy into the pricing and promos for our customers. In this role, you will collaborate with the merchants leveraging our data rich environment to maintain and transform our pricing/promos.
The pricing/promo team has a strong track record of promoting team members across the organization. We are looking for a motivated team member with a passion for continuous improvement that will develop a deep knowledge of pricing/promo to support our business initiatives while developing the skills to advance their career.
What You’ll Do in This Role:
- Develop deep knowledge of pricing analytics, strategy, and execution to delivery our pricing/promo objectives and margin goals
- Provides insights & inputs for development of overall company Pricing/Promo Strategy. Produce post event analytics to track and monitor results.
- Support day-to-day execution of pricing/promo activities
- Become a recognized subject matter expert in pricing/promo to assist your business partners with clear and actionable recommendations that are made based on in-depth understanding and interpretation of analytics results
- Provide feedback to support team members and merchant teams, driving continuous improvement and change
- Provides insights to senior management for decisions involving base price and promotional activity
- Develop, analyze, and manage price and promotion financial results
- Deliver strategic and holistic pricing and promotional analytics to leadership
What will You Bring:
- A passion for learning and continuous improvement
- 3 – 5 years combined experience in retail, category, merchandising, pricing, finance or business analytics
- Strong MS Excel skills with understanding of data structures, relationships, and integration patterns
- Experience working with large data sets and translating data into business analytics and insights
- Experience with Revionics or other price / promotional solutions a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
