Summary

Tinton Falls Cooperative Preschool is looking for a PART TIME Preschool Teacher for our 3 - 4-year-old class to complete the 2024-2025 school year.

Our 3-4-year-old class meets Monday through Friday mornings . Our new hire will also have the option of working some afternoons for our Lunch Bunch and Extended Day Programs . There is also an option to work at our Summer Camp.

We are hiring a teacher who is energetic, engaged, and enjoys exploring and discovering life with young children. All candidates must be able to sit and play on the floor, work at low tables, participate in large motor activities, carry children up to 40 pounds, and be physically able to carry out all duties and responsibilities of a teacher in the classroom.

TFCP requests that all teachers of preschool classes to have a teaching certificate with at least two years of experience in an Early Childhood Educational setting.

The perfect job for someone returning to teaching or a full-time teacher looking to change to part time work. Our teaching team works closely together to assure a positive learning experience for all of the children at TFCP!

This is a Part Time Position - perfect for a teacher who is a stay-at-home parent with children in elementary and high school.

Duties

Teachers Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for 3- to 4-year-old students.
• Create a nurturing learning environment.
• Manage classroom activities.
• Effectively communicate with young learners and their parents.
• Continually adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Connecting with colleagues to further enhance the community experience for our families.

Requirements

Teaching Certification
At least 2 years' experience in an early childhood classroom.
CPR First Aid certified
