Job Description
Freedom House Recovery Center, Inc., is a comprehensive behavioral health provider trusted to serve the Chapel Hill community for over 45 years. We offer a full range of services to adults, children and families managing behavioral health symptoms and/or substance use disorders including inpatient psychiatric stabilization and medically assisted detoxification; outpatient evaluations, therapy and medication management, medication assisted treatment for substance use disorders and adult residential services.
We are currently seeking a full-time psychiatric nurse practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team. The nurse practitioner will provide initial psychiatric assessments, medication management including MAT services, and assist with evaluations one half day per week at our inpatient unit.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The qualified candidate will:
Have knowledge and experience working with BH/SUD population
Have excellent clinical evaluation and treatment skills
Be proficient in time management and use of the electronic medical record
Work well with a variety of client target populations including the underserved
Work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
Be knowledgeable of resources in the NC public mental health system
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of PNP experience
Degrees, Licensures, Certifications
· Must have current licensure in the state of North Carolina.
· Must be Board approved to practice as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in NC
· Have an active Data 2000 waiver
