Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer - Contract to Hire (CTH) 
The QA Engineer will work collaboratively with our development and product teams to craft, implement, and maintain the highest standards for quality assurance. Leveraging both automated and manual testing methodologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functionality, reliability, and performance of our diverse product range. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated testing systems to validate product functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to analyze product requirements and ensure they are incorporated correctly in the design. 
  • Detect, document, and track bugs and defects, collaborating with teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Leverage automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright or equivalent to enhance efficiency in testing processes. 
  • Provide input on QA process improvements, aiming to increase efficiency and effectiveness of QA activities. 
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to foster quality and innovation.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • 2+ years experience in software quality assurance, including experience in both manual and automated testing environments.
  • Experience with various testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent. 
  • Experience working with SQL or C# language and databases is required.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and DevOps methodologies
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse teams.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.

Work Environment:

  • Remote work from home.
  • Hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday. Specific business hours will depend on client needs.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • The person in this position must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, library stacks, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with clients and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
