The position entails assisting in diverse facets of research such as surveying and summarizing academic papers, programming, organizing and running laboratory, field or online experiments, and drafting reports summarizing research findings. The ideal candidate will be able to perform well independently and in a team, and under time pressure. Appointments will be for one year, starting in September 1st, 2025 and ending on August 31st, 2026.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Economics by the position start date and have previous experience as a research assistant. Knowledge of Stata and/or R is required. The applicant must be able to communicate proficiently in English.
The position provides a salary higher than internationally competitive rates for research assistant positions, in addition to substantial benefits (generous housing, transportation and travel allowances, educational subsidies for children), together with full health insurance and retirement contributions. The UAE does not levy income tax.
