Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Hospitality Support Specialist to join our team at Silve Treasure Retirement Home. This role is integral to ensuring our residents experience a comfortable, clean, and nourishing environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, compassionate, and committed to upholding the highest standards of service in both culinary and housekeeping domains.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary Duties:
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established menus, dietary requirements, and resident preferences.
Ensure proper portion control, food presentation, and adherence to food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and sanitization tasks.
Food handlers card needed upon starting date
Housekeeping Duties:
Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Change bed linens, launder resident clothing and facility linens, and restock supplies.
Monitor and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
General Support:
Provide assistance during resident activities and events, ensuring a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operation across departments.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in food service, housekeeping, or a similar role within a healthcare or senior living setting is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, lifting, and bending.
