We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Hospitality Support Specialist to join our team at Silve Treasure Retirement Home. This role is integral to ensuring our residents experience a comfortable, clean, and nourishing environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, compassionate, and committed to upholding the highest standards of service in both culinary and housekeeping domains.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary Duties:

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established menus, dietary requirements, and resident preferences.

• Ensure proper portion control, food presentation, and adherence to food safety standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and sanitization tasks.

• Food handlers card needed upon starting date

Housekeeping Duties:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.

• Change bed linens, launder resident clothing and facility linens, and restock supplies.

• Monitor and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

General Support:

• Provide assistance during resident activities and events, ensuring a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operation across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in food service, housekeeping, or a similar role within a healthcare or senior living setting is preferred.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, lifting, and bending.

• Food handlers card
