Location: Cudahy School District, Cudahy, WI

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Full-Time School Nurse to support student wellness and academic success across our K12 schools.
Position Summary:The School Nurse plays a vital role in promoting the health and safety of students and staff through professional nursing services. This individual will assess and manage student health needs, provide health education, and support public health pliance in collaboration with families, staff, and outside healthcare providers.
Primary Responsibilities:Deliver direct nursing care and first aid to students and staff during the school day
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs)
Administer medications and medical procedures in accordance with physician orders and school district policy
Maintain accurate student health records and ensure pliance with immunization laws and municable disease protocols
Collaborate with administrators, counselors, teachers, and families to address students physical and mental health needs
Assist in planning and implementing health screenings and staff trainings (e.g., CPR, bloodborne pathogens)
Support the districts public health efforts, including contact tracing and health reporting as needed
Participate in student services team meetings, IEP/504 plan meetings, and crisis response planning
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin (required)
Current CPR/AED certification (required)
Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Minimum 2 years of school nursing experience or pediatric/munity health nursing strongly preferred
Working knowledge of FERPA, HIPAA, and Wisconsin DPI health requirements
Strong organizational, munication, and decision-making skills
Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., Skyward, SNAP) a plus
