Job Description

This is not a typical technician job.

At PRO RV Repair, technicians are not hidden in the back of the shop. They are the backbone of our reputation and the reason customers trust us with their adventure. Every RV we repair represents a family trip, a long planned retirement journey, or a weekend escape that matters deeply to someone. We take that seriously!

We are hiring a full-time RV Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is hands-on, creative, problem-solving work with room to grow into advanced technical specialties, lead technician roles, or mentorship opportunities over time. If you take pride in your craft, enjoy diagnosing real problems, and want to work in a place where quality matters more than shortcuts, you will feel at home here.

About the Role

As a PRO Technician, you will be trusted to diagnose, repair, and maintain RV systems with excellence and integrity. You will:

  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance services
  • Diagnose and repair RV systems including electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, and structural components
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors and office staff to ensure customers are informed and confident
  • Recommend additional repairs or improvements when appropriate and ethical
  • Work safely, cleanly, and efficiently
  • Take pride in leaving every RV better than you found it

You are not expected to know everything on day one. You are expected to care, learn, and take ownership of your work.

What Makes Someone Wildly Successful Here? We care as much about how you work as what you know.

Our best technicians are:

  • Team oriented and willing to help others succeed
  • Growth-minded and always learning
  • Curious problem solvers who enjoy diagnostics
  • Calm, steady, and professional under pressure
  • Proud of doing the job right the first time
  • Energetic, reliable, and accountable
  • Adventure minded people who like being part of something meaningful

What Will Not Work Here:

  • Arrogance or ego driven work styles
  • Cutting corners or blaming others
  • Chronic negativity or complaining
  • Unsafe work habits
  • “That’s not my job” mentalities

Experience and Requirements

  • RV, automotive, marine, HVAC, or related mechanical experience preferred
  • Electrical and diagnostic experience is a strong plus
  • RV industry experience is a bonus, not required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • A willingness to learn is more important than knowing everything

We will train the right technician and invest in your growth.

Compensation and Schedule

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience
  • Incentives include bonuses, commissions, and profit sharing.
  • Medical insurance can possibly be provided.
  • Full time, 40+ hours per week
  • Shop hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and will require some flexibility
  • In shop and occasional mobile service work

A Note From the Owner:

At PRO RV Repair, we fix what’s broken. Sometimes that’s an RV system. Sometimes it’s a plan that fell apart halfway through a trip. Sometimes it’s a stressful situation that just needs a capable professional to step in and make things right.

I believe craftsmanship matters. I believe people grow when they are trusted, challenged, and supported. If you want to work somewhere that values your skill, invests in your development, and takes pride in doing things the right way, I would love to meet you.
